CPR in March 9th, 2011, the European Union enacted new construction products regulations, replacing the old building products directive (89/106/EEC-CPD), and announced that CPR will enter the mandatory stage in June 2017. In June 2016, the harmonized standard EN 50575 has been put into effect for a period of one year. All the wires installed in the building shall comply with the CPR code, that is, the EN 50575 standard. All cable products sold in the EU market must be certified through EN 50575, and enterprises that meet the requirements of the EU CE certification can affix CE labels on the products.
